On another note, I’ve read and gone over my first book so many times, I have dreams of it.  But, the one thing that has always stuck out every time I have read it is, one character that I thought about deleting, Ethan. If you've read the book, you know why.
Looking back at the book, there were several reasons I decided to keep that character. One, it showed how unstable Junior was. Two, it showed where Toby was is with his thoughts. Above all else, if Ethan wasn’t there Cody wouldn’t be fighting as hard as he was; Haggs, probably wouldn’t get anywhere in his investigation. Ethan brought all those elements together.
I guess you can say, it’s just a side note I thought I would share.
