Character Profiles

I don't know about you, but writing character profiles and backstory drains me and worries me. I want to know my characters as well as I can, and I want the reader/s to feel empathy for them and to care about their journey. However, I almost always miss something important out and- at last minute- have to return and re-write.Last night I designed myself a very basic (but very useful) character profile planning sheet, including all the basic areas of development you might want to consider.
