Nat Kennedy You are so fast! I'm somewhat jealous at how quick you are working. Did you write all the books at once and then just edited/published as time went by? That's probably a very good plan. Tell me your secrets!

C.B. Archer You discovered my secret! I had drafts of all three done before i released the first book. :D

Nat Kennedy You are a brilliant, brilliant Elf! I should set up something like that for my next series. I'm still working on the third book of mine, and finished the 1st book of a second series. I'm just not very organized.

C.B. Archer It really did help to make the foreshadowing easier to deal with doing it like that! :D

Nat Kennedy Oh, I bet. I do think you have a good plan doing it this way. I wish I had the patience to hold out. I do have patience! I can write more before I publish the new series. *self talk self talk*

Any more tips on series writing, great author master? *bows*

C.B. Archer Oh, patience wasn't it. I was terrified of publishing the first one, and waited until the third was all blocked out before I started to try submitting to publishers! By the time they all told me I was off my nut crazy, all the books were first drafted.

:D

I may not be able to hold off so long on my next series

Nat Kennedy Really, they told you you were off your nut crazy? I'm curious now... where did you submit to? What exactly did they say? (It's okay if you don't want to talk about this here.) I haven't tried to submit my m/m line. I like your stories (the one's I've read), but perhaps I'm just kinky. ;)

So, you were chugging away while querying... that sounds reasonable. Though, if you had gotten trad published they might not have picked up the entire series. That would have sucked! Glad you got them published, though. :) It's nice to know more about the history of these off the nut crazy novels!
