Creating Org Charts and Diagrams

One of the lessons my online students have to complete requires the use of a diagram like an organizational (org) chart or diagram. I found several resources that the students can use to accomplish task.

First is Grafio 3. It is an iOS app that is fantastic! It has a variety of tools, shapes, and lines to create a simple or complex diagram. It will also draw for you. You can draw a circle or oval and it was draw one for you perfectly sized and proportioned. It will also draw the arrows when you draw them by hand where you want them to go. One of my students used it for the diagram and that is how I found out about the app. Check it out in the app store and see all of the features it offers those who need to draw a diagram.

[image error]The second resource is Draw.io. This is an oldie but goodie and can be found online at https://draw.io. This resource also has a great library of lines and shapes that can be used to create an online diagram. The diagram can then be saved to Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, hard drive or a storage device.  Draw.io, like Grafio, has a great deal of possibilities.

I would love to hear of more resources to share with students. Leave a comment about a fantastic resource to draw diagrams that you are familiar with or how you liked one of the two shared in this short post. Let’s collaborate!
