God’s Element of Surprise

From Utmost.org and Oswald Chambers classic devotional for January 25:

“We tend to overlook this element of surprise, yet God never works in any other way.” 


We expect God this, we expect God that, we calculate and estimate and leave little room for God when we need to strive to stay in a constant state of expectation.



But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, Galatians 1:15

Those first five words should be part of our daily mantra.
