Pushing forward and Making Progress
As I progress in my mentorship, I learn more and more. Not only about writing but about me. It has been a fascinating experience. I’ve been pushed to try new things in my approach to writing. It’s a trial by fire. I can’t wait to continue. This Monday I pushed harder than I had in a while and reached a new personal record for words written in a first draft on a day. I hope to surpass that mark in the coming days. Since I have so many different stories, I want to write. I hope you enjoy the first time of my that is coming in the week, The Prophecy. I mentioned it the other day, but I’ll bring it up again it’s my attempt to write an epic YA Fantasy. It’s only a short story. Working on getting the full-length novel plotted out.
