In the recent US election, the world witnessed Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party yank off its wedding band to abandon its faithful old spouse, the working class, in favor of crawling into bed with those darling PC Snowflakes.

With the announcement Tuesday of Martin Schultz as its Chancellor candidate, Germany's SPD, for over 140 years the safe refuge of the working class, promised that it would be a firewall against populism.

Will that promise transform the SPD into the party of PC Snowflakes and Pajama Boyz?
