the one truth every living being shares is being alive in this moment
in this commonality, we are connected in our shared existence
it is here where our differences become meaningless
in our inability to own the future, that which we do not yet possess, we are equal
in our inability to own the past, the time that has slipped through our fingers into a great expanse of sandy beach behind us, we are equal
in life and death, we are equal
there are no rich or poor in the great and powerful now
each of us possesses the same amount of now, because now is always equal, never growing or shrinking
now is the great equalizer of life
