I read the Starbound trilogy about a month ago ( still not over it

There are some scenes and elements that I can explain with pinpoint accuracy, and articulate exactly why they were included and crafted the way they were. The Butterfly Waltz in Their Fractured Lightis not one of these elements. This question reminds me just how much of my writing is still instinct, instead of logical craft!
