Just read the last TR comic and Sam Nishimura has been fridged for the next game -- again! Do you think they afraid of what she might represent if they were to dare to explore her relationship with Lara?

I don’t know, I’m not in contact with them currently, but I don’t get it at all.

The fans of the series completely embraced Sam…even if she and Lara aren’t lovers (which to me, it seems obvious that they are), they are at least best friends, and she adds a missing element to the TR myth.

I love the new TR games, they’re my favorites, but I don’t understand why they built all this wonderful stuff in the first game only to push it all away in the follow-ups.
