Do you have good ideas that are unrelated or extremely tangential to what you are working on? If so do you write them down and explore them a little or just let them pass into the ether?

All the time. Always. If they stick around long enough I know they’re for real. Usually I write em down in my notebook or on a stack of index cards on my desk. I still have the card that planned out adventureman!, satellite Sam, ody-c, cass v4, sex crimz, and a couple other things that are slow-burning I started writing during my time at marvel– it was my someday list, like a daydream made a little concrete.
