Paperback Published Finally
40 Something is based on true stories and about five women navigating life while juggling careers, kids, family, and the men in their lives. It is about friends, sisters, rivals, marriage, divorce, dating, love, and how life has changed.
It has always been my dream to write the novel about our generation and in this series I have. I started with short novellas 15 000 - 20 000 words. Each one like a TV episode with a larger story woven through it.
Now the paperback has been published, which included ebooks 1-4 plus a bonus episode. It is 84 000 words and is meant to inspire thought, reflection, discussion, and maybe motivate people to change.
In the future I will tackle edgier topics like cheating, kinky sex, lesbianism, job loss, career change, and things we don't like to talk about but are happening in our world.
I grew up in a bubble. I created a bubble for my children and divorce burst that bubble into a million pieces. I have discovered a world that is beyond anything I thought existed and the stories women and men share with me sometimes blow my mind. I hope my rendering of them will blow yours.
