The Future Isn't Here Yet, Apparently

Due to the brisk (ok, brisk-ish) sales of the physical editions of First In Flight and Low Lords, I've released print-on-demand paperback editions of a number of my other novels, only available at Amazon.

So you can now get virgin copies of Off For The Sweet Hereafter, The Last of How It Was, Call and Response, Gospel Hour, Cry Me a River, Polar, Blue Ridge, and True Cross in case you prefer a physical book but would rather not have a used one that smells like Marlboro Lights and feet.

Most of these new editions have yet to be linked to the older listings, so you might have to nose around for them (I'm working on it). All have similar covers -- look for the baled hay.

I do not yet control the rights to A Short History of a Small Place and Glad News of the Natural World, which is why they are so bloody expensive. They'll come home to poppa in time.

T.R. Pearson You're welcome. I'm still wrangling with Amazon over the listings, but they're all findable now.

Kathryn Walter I just finished Low Lords. It was a joy, vintage T.R. Pearson with laugh out loud passages. Nobody does it better. Likely this is the JA novel to which you referred. Can I ask, is it set up for a sequel? I suspect the alliance between the protagonist (and maybe all the others branded with the Q) and cracker daddy has something to do with the hinkey DNA? I mean, I suspect they are related? Also, as it turns out the nature of the alabastards (Really, TR?) will prove to be very different than it appears? Can't wait to see their true nature. Anyway, I heartily endorse the book and I remain your devoted fan.

T.R. Pearson Hi Kathryn,

Thanks much for your good opinion of Low Lords (yes, alabastards, really). I did intend to write three books, and I still might, but it's on hold for the moment as I work on other (read 'paying') stuff.

If you can trouble yourself to write an Amazon review, it would be appreciated.

I did write the pilot script for a Low Lords TV show, which is currently getting kicked around. So who knows? Some stories just won't die.
