To be honest, authors have very little say in when their books are released, at least when working with traditional publishing houses. (Obviously, small presses and self-published authors work differently!) I’m actually quite delighted with this pub date for Hunted, as it falls in the same week as the release of the new Beauty and the Beast movie–serendipity, as far as I can tell.
