What I Learned About Storytelling from Ken Burns

Recently I had the great fortune to see the acclaimed documentary filmmaker, Ken Burns, speak in person at Boston’s Symphony Hall.

I am a big fan of Ken Burns’ films, and I was particularly interested to hear more about his creative process. He spoke about “1 plus 1 equals 3,” his insightful formula for making a great story. Ah ha! A great insight to storytelling… Have a listen.
