Do you like the comics that came out of Fort Thunder?

Yeah, I remember reading some Mat Brinkman comics that I really liked.

I feel like I only ever personally saw the tip of the ice burg of that scene. Years ago I was dating a nice lady who had friends in Fort Thunder and she would show me Brian Ralph comics and took me to a Lightning bolt show ( I remember being interested in how Chippendale had a mic duct tapped to his face. 

Years after that I got invited out to a comic school in Georgia (SCAD) where Brian Ralph was teaching and was really impressed by him as a dude. (and got more into his comics after) 

So in answer to your question – Yes. but I feel like it’s not a scene I know enough about. I would have loved to see the energy going on in actual 

Providence when those guys had their space and were all working together.

I was gonna type about how indy comics in the late 90′s was weird but I think I was looking for a place that wasn’t there yet.
