319 drive into the storm

319
drive into the storm, rain wipers and blind corners so fast i feel the loss of traction, hoping i might go back ten weeks to when we were laying in that soccer field watching planes fly over us and the sky bright for just another hour before the sun dips below city lights
and all i can do to drown out the remnants of you that cling to my bones is turn up a new song so loud i can’t hear the ways you and i were so perfect for each other
so don’t bother me with clouds and hurricanes, just wrap me up in the thunder

where-whispers-willow-presentation All my books are free forever including, Where Whispers Willow, a collection of 100 reverie, musings and lingering dreams.
