I think I'm so excited because it seems like we've rented forever and we couldn't have feathery or furry pets. We're still renting, but we have permission. And, hopefully, soon, by Spring anyway, we'll move to our very own home and we can have lots more chickens, and also I want Nigerian Dwarf Goats, cats, dogs, and one of my girls is crazy about bunny rabbits. The above picture is of our new chickie-poos, Bessie and Amelia. Unfortunately, we can't have the rooster on the left, because roosters crow. Check out my new book I just got yesterday-
I want to go with the miniture goats, because I can't handle raising goats by myself. Most of the goat care will depend on the children and we feel we can handle the little ones best. I've discovered there are several families here in Alaska who raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats, so we can obtain stock and the advice of experienced goatherders right here.
