You've fallen a long way from Fugue. I assume you'll be moving to another hideously white enclave, away from all the "diversity" (white genocide) you claim to love?

I think you both just qualified his points.
The replies here are a perfect example of the hateful landscape Trump is walking on. I wish you the best and the only thing we can do right now is be hopeful that it's not "that bad" and do the little things that help (by that I mean thoughtful use of resources, lower consumption of goods, etc.)
The "hateful landscape" has been created by mainstream media and liberals: their non-stop hatred of Trump, violence against his supporters, rioting after Trump won, hatred of anyone who speaks out against Islamic terrorism, hatred of white men. Falsely labeling Trump and his supporters as racist bigots etc. Brainwashing people to make them believe Trump is literally Hitler, and fear-mongering about what Trump might do as President. Trump wants to stop illegal immigration, wants peace with Russia, wants to stop ISIS, wants to bring jobs back to the US. There is nothing to be afraid of. All this fear about Trump is nonsense.
@Micky I understand where you're coming from, and I have to admit that my biggest exposure to Trump supporters is from /r/The_Donald (on reddit). I have 2 main problems with Trump and his supporters:1. He calls global warming a hoax. Anyone that does any amount of research will know it's not a hoax. Calling it a hoax means that you can counter any research or observation by saying that it is fake or advancing a certain agenda (getting research funds or whatever).
2. Anything said against Trump is seen as propaganda against him "from the liberals or mainstream media", it's not. It's perfectly valid to have concerns about Trump that don't come from any extremist positions. (see no 1). Having a fixed point of view on either side is simply bad, both sides are calling the other extremist and both sides think the other is being manipulated by X Y or Z.
I think Trump raises a lot of issues that we do, indeed, need to talk about and consider (immigration, civil/religious liberties, racism, etc.), however there are other issues that he has extreme views on that scare me, such as climate change, acceptable use of nuclear weapons, to name a few. Trump has also frequently lied, especially from his Twitter account, yet his supporters tend to claim that "he didn't mean it literally" or that is was simply a joke. You can be a Trump supporter and still criticize him and some of his actions/claims, blind support is dangerous, no matter the recipient.
Anyhow, this is worth a good discussion that is well outside the scope of a Goodread comment thread (especially since I'm a lousy writer).
