Looking back on 2016

This has been a wonderfully crazy year, our baby boy has kept us busy. Your brain starts to do funny things to you when you get broken sleep. Years ago, when my daughter was crying in the middle of the night, I reached over and grabbed the alarm clock off the nightstand. I sat up and was rocking the alarm clock in my arms before I fully woke up! Nothing quite that silly happened in 2016, just blissful fatigue. Having a baby when you're in your 40s is wonderful, but not for everyone! I did manage to complete one short story, Athena, this year. And between washing bottles and changing diapers I also platformed Spanish language versions of my existing line of eBooks under the pen name Jose Sandarena. They've actually been selling very well... in Japan! Who'da thunk it?
Our home life is now settling into a more cooperative rhythm, and I should be able to complete the turtle book I've been working on during the year. I hope everyone has something to look forward to in 2017, Have a Happy New Year!
