We might get it one day!  I mean, I’ve seen a lot of really thoughtful writers on tumblr and surely at least a few of them will be able to sneak into the movie-making business eventually.

In the meantime, a few people wrote me back to say that the book COYOTE by Allen Steele has some pretty close parallels to what I suggested.  I’ve not had the fortune of reading it myself, but it might be worth looking into.
