Michele Zurlo: Looking Back and Forward 2016-17

In 2016, I set some goals for myself. I didn’t call them resolutions because I’m goal-oriented. I figured the wordsmithing …

Michele Zurlo Hi Lily, I'm glad you like it. I guess it's going to come down who is featured in the novels. Liam and Jed are going to be in book 6. I was thinking maybe Brandy for book 7, but after that, I don't know who to feature. Do you have a favorite?

Lily First I have to get this out of the way, omg I can't believe I'm talking with you (this is said while spinning and jumping up like a 5y.o. on Christmas morning). Okay now that is done, talk about pressure. Can't wait for Liam and Jed. Definitely Brandi. I've wanted to know what her deal is forever. after that I fall in love with the characters and I just want to know what's next in their lives. What challenges are they facing, relationships are hard, how are they handling it? Thank you so much.

Michele Zurlo I'm glad I could make you feel like a 5 yo again. We all need that in our lives. So--you're asking for a follow up to a couple or two?

Lily Besides your books I'm also a huge fan of JR Ward's Brotherhood series. The series kind of ran its course, with all the brothers having found their happily ever after mates but life goes on and she's been doing a full length book for each brother with new problems to overcome, new enemies, children, strained relationships, etc. I absolutely love it because I'm in love with these characters and now we can grow old together. I'm being selfish in that I want to stay a part of life of the characters I love.

Michele Zurlo I get what you're saying. I'll have to kick that idea around. I kind of did that with the Awakenings series and I regret it. I'll see what my muse whispers at me in the dark of night when I'm trying to sleep.

I do plan to do a DFBI novella for a multi-author anthology in 2017. I was thinking of focusing on either Keith and Kat or Dustin and Layla.
