This… this right here is one of the most horrific ways you can kill someone. Latex gloves (latex is very uncomfortable stuff, allows no air to get through, seals off completely so the moisture in Sherlock’s breath has nowhere to go either), eye contact, suffocation…
This is personal. This is intimate. This is someone with a serious, serious grudge and hatred for Sherlock and who is determined to see him suffer in his final moments by their hands. Literally.
I completely agree with all of you: first person in my mind is Mary, and the hands seen to match (trust me, after thumb hell, I’ve spent a lot of the time looking at her hands).
But is she strong enought to knock him down?
Sherlock might be strong and taller, but Mary is an assassin. She knows her trade, she knows the tricks. She must know some decent level of combat training.
Also, I’m getting The Lying Detective vibes from this, which means Sherlock is already weakened.
Answer: yes. Yes, she definitely could.
ok but “This is intimate,” remember TAB, We don’t need guns to kill each other, where’s the intimacy in that.
Ugh. Maybe he’s incapacitated in the hospital here?
