Martyn Stanley Ursula, I've just finished reading The Tombs of Atuan and I absolutely loved it. Favorite thing I've read in ages. (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...) One thing I'm desperate to know, ideally in a non-spoilery way: Do the pair Ged finds on the sand bank in book 1, and you learn more about in book 2 - do they ever get a satisfactory resolution? Their tale seems so gut-wrenchingly sad and tragic... I really want to hope there is some light at the end of the tunnel for them, but I can't imagine how there can be! Do they get explored more in the rest of the Quintet?
