i want to find adventure with you
i want to do the unthinkable
what others only dream about
what most don’t believe is even possible
a life so big we could never live it on our own
but is only possible when we’re together
level mountains or raise land from the sea
call down stars from the sky just to give them to children who haven’t smiled in a very long while
our love will be built on unbroken truth and passion and never ending life
we can write our own story
better than any book or song or movie
because it will be real
and not merely the fiction of some writer’s mind
we were meant to find each other
down this long and odd and twisted path
this circuitous journey of pain and confusion
and what felt like endless searching
but now i’ve found you, i’m certain this is true
you and i can do some pretty amazing things on our own
but together
this world won’t know what hit it
i’ve seen this all
a vision more vivid that all my fingers have ever touched
or all that my eyes have ever seen
our lives lay before me, intertwined and stretched out for all time
hold my hand for this ride
because it’s going to be like nothing this world has ever seen
