Hanneke A very enjoyable new video, Britta! I am lagging behind on your video's, but will catch up! Interesting what you say about 'Hotel du Lac'. I have read it a long time ago, but I can't remember anything specific about it anymore. I would imagine I would feel the same way about it as you did, if I would reread it, but I have no intention of doing that!

Thanx! And re Hotel du Lac: I've heard its not Brookner's best book, even though it won the Manbooker, so maybe I will try out one of her other novels.
