Uncommon Common Ground

Believe it or not, the Republicans and Democrats have recently found some common ground.

They concur with one another that the American people have no right to know what the politicians are doing behind their backs.

Send in the clowns! The political monkey scum seem to believe that the citizens work for them, not the other way around.

That is what is causing all their fuss about alleged Russian hacking, not foreign interference, but open information.

Both parties have found some rather stinky ground well outside of the Constitution. They believe the American people who cut their paychecks should be kept in the dark.

Is it not rich that American citizens have to rely on foreign subterfuge to learn what should be public knowledge?

Being old-fashioned, believing that Congress and the White House are actually employed by the people and that they deserve unrelenting scrutiny because they are, after all, nothing more than political scum, we send a great big THANK YOU to whoever is doing this wonderful job of hacking to keep Americans informed of the nasty secrets festering in Washington's smoke-filled rooms!

Robert Hobkirk I don't care where or why we get the info as long as we get it. Apparently the lamestream media isn't capable of digging up the rich ground of truth because they're too busy spreading the manure.

David Gustafson Exactly.
For example, why should Congressional e-mails and telephone calls not be public property? After all, they are working on the taxpayers' dime.

Robert Hobkirk Also on the taxpayers' dime was the Orange Coast College teacher who went on an anti-Trump rant. She called the election an "act of terrorism" among other things. One of the students caught it on his cell phone and posted it on his facebook page. The college is threatening him with expulsion. Check it out:

The teacher's name was Stable-Cox and she teaches sex education. Not making it up.

David Gustafson I saw the article. Whether Trump or Hillary, any sane or honest person would be entitled to throw a rant, but expelling the student who posted it??? Sorry, that is just a little too Gestapo, is it not?

Robert Hobkirk Institutions of higher indoctrination aren't known for drinking from the fountain of free expression, more for drinking from the fountain of kool aid. My parents' generation was so much wiser than mine or the current generation. Back in the day, an 8th grade education was par for the course, which in the long run gave them more of a chance to think for themselves and use their common sense. Today, if you have a Phd, you are a highly educated idiot.

David Gustafson Yes, the PC police on campus and in the media are the new Gestapo. People who do not read, do not care.
