A cheeky hello
Okay, so I am sneaking a quick 5 minutes to blog which is insane seeing as I am on such a crazy deadline to finish London Bound edits. Still, I am feeling very zen, nay optimistic about how it is all coming together, but that's just me in general lately.
Maybe it's because we are all winding down to a new year? Maybe it's because I put my Christmas tree up before December? But I just have this overwhelming feeling of gratitude that when things get a bit stressful I have an inner tranquility that I have never really experienced before and I find that it is linked to one very good reason.
I have been keeping a gratitude journal.
Five minutes a day, where the first thing I do in the morning is write down (with prompts) what I am grateful for, then the last thing I do before bed is journal what made today so great and what could have made it better and all I can say is WOW! What a completely different mindset it gives you. You know how you finish the day and all you can remember is everything that went wrong or caused you stress. Lots of little amazing things probably happened too, but we don't remember those because the bad stuff is easier to carry around with you.
I will talk about this a bit more at length when I deliver my book and have some free time over Christmas. I am so looking forward not so much by a new rear but just the general on going of new projects, set new goals, learn new things, even make some mistake some doubt, but no matter what I am going to take the time to make sure that I am grateful for the little things.
Can't wait to chat more about this! Off to smash these edits, watch this space!
