Useful Software for Managing Agile Projects

This is less a blog and more a list. It comes from a project management for software development course I ran a few weeks ago. As a class we came up with a list of software we’d used to manage agile projects. The only two I have used are Pencil and OnTime, but I’m sure the others are worth a look:

Prototying Software

Balsamiq Mockups.  www.balsamiq.com
GUI Design Studio. www.carettasoftware.com
Pencil. An opensource tool that acts as a plugin to Firefox. http://pencil.evolus.vn
Mock-up Screen. www.mockupscreens.com
Storyboard. A plugin for Photoshop. www.codeandhustle.com
Designer Vista. designervista.com

Release Planning Software

Trello. trello.com
Microsoft Team Foundation Server. www.microsoft.com
On Time. Software designed particularly for the SCRUM approach.  www.ontimenow.com

If any reader has any other software suggestions please feel free to comment below.
