The Election, Protesting, Protecting, Pipeline, and Love

Hey, all. It’s been a bit since my last post. There’s a reason. Too much stuff happening! My brain has been too full to sit down and focus so I decided a good rant was in order. Let me get this over with and then I’ll get back to fiction. First, I can’t be happier that the election is over! For the first time, I had to stay away from Facebook for a good three days. That wasn’t really long enough, but I do more on Facebook than just scroll through the newsfeed. Oh my goodness, though, I just couldn’t take it anymore. I rarely commented on the election and I didn’t choose a side because I’m one of the ones who felt there wasn’t a side to choose. Yes, I made my way to the booth to vote.
