Thanks! Nova's story is out now: The Vampire and the Necromancer an out of sequence love story. I wrote half of my Ethan and Michelle Novella, but decided to work my current project first. Noah's story is also in the works. That one is mostly finished. If you want to message me your e-mail address or post it here, I can make sure that you get an ARC of my future works. I'm always looking for reviews and feedback, constructive or otherwise.

Ormey - I LOVE this book! I hope that you'll like it too.

Thanks! I'll try not to hit you up to Beta read on your birthday! Lol. Capricorn?

Thanks Monique!
I normally don't run into many artsy-fartsy, creative-type Caps. They are generally more serious about buckling down and making $$$...even as children. lol But - this does make sense. As writers, the both of you buckle down seriously to get the stories down.
And with me being an Aquarian - the ones that are suppose to be in Neverland, I'm pretty serious and stubborn as hell in getting things done.
In other words...forget most of the shit that I said.

We are doing our part to demolish stereotypes. The Aquarian is the hard-ass, and the Caps aren't making any money. Lol.

Ha! I've become more of a hard ass, because I'm getting old and grumpy. I'm still artsy-fartsy though.
(And my grown Capricorn nephew fits the Cap description perfectly. Made good $ at Apple corporate, making money now at some other place...hell, dude was making $ as a kid playing and rating games online at the age of 12 or 13...lol)
And apologies for totally wrecking this thread. This is suppose to be about my fave Gisele book!
Haha! It's not that dark. You and Heather do dark better than me. Its more romantic fluff/comedy with vampires and Sani from Vampire/Necromancer in it. Less dark than Beignets and Fangs, but I hope you still like it.

You wrecked nothing! I like to chat.
I'm sure that I'll still like it! I like to chat too, and as of right now, I need to go over bills, paperwork/apps for medical coverage - I just got permanent at my job earlier this month - no more contract work! - and other boring shit.
I'd rather be chatting, reading and writing.
(Yeah - I'm STILL not done with 'A Good and Fair Trade'. Still limping to the finish line. Damn - I wish I had more free time to write)!
In any case - I hope to drop in later on today/tomorrow.
Congratulations on becoming permanent! I'm going to do some writing today or tomorrow. Busy week for me, and I want to finish this. I'm writing it out of sequence, but it will be in order. Can't wait to read your book. Don't neglect it for too long!
I have an art degree I don't use, so there's that, lol. I've never fit the stereotypical Cap. ;)Congrats on the job, Monique. Also, I didn't know you wrote! Do you do vampires like us or stick to humans?

I have an art degree as well - a B.A, in Fashion design from an art college (Academy of Art, in San Francisco). Don't use mine either - lol. But I always knew how to draw.
I like - and am attempting to write - about vampires, demons, fallen angels, and an occasional shifter, etc. All in two books, which probably won't see the light of day for awhile... *sigh*
And here I am, here again, when I need to get back to boring shit (Well, I got some of the crap out of the way, so...)
Thanks, ladies for the job kudos!
My degree is in Social Sciences. Monique! You have to release the book! Are you drawing the cover art yourself? My hubby has on football. Hes sleeping but as soon as I change the channel he wakes up. SMH. I'm supposed to be writing so that's okay I guess. Sorry so random.
Ha ha! I love randomness...lolI've just given up on trying to print my DNA 'pie' from ancestry.com. My printer won't connect, so now I have to wait to hear back from Dell to update the printer software, I guess. (I haven't used my printer in months, as Dell's ink cartridges really suck).
If I had time, I'd do my own artwork. Knowing how particular and picky I am, I'd take forever to get the covers done to my satisfaction though, so I'm just going with free shit I can get via Createspace, and an unfinished feather print that my real artist sister never finished/fixed...ugh.
Hell - I need to finish the written parts of the book(s) first, anyway. Duh.
Well - at least I've gotten a lot of the paperwork done. I think that I may actually have time to finish the book I'm reading, and get back to writing...!
There are helicopters still flying about, due to a huge fire at a live/work artists' building here last night, just a few streets away. It's tragic, as 9 people are confirmed dead, with as many as 40, if they can't locate them - or the bodies. :(
I should turn the tv back on for an update...

That's very sad. I haven't heard anything about that.
It's all over the local news, and if you go online to any of the news media outlets, it is the top or one of the top stories.
I'm almost done with my current WIP (which is all about humans actually), but I can't figure out how to write the ending. *sobs*
Heather *live on coffee & flowers* wrote: "I'm almost done with my current WIP (which is all about humans actually), but I can't figure out how to write the ending. *sobs*"Ooh.......maybe all the people were in a vampire dream. No, it's the apocalypse and meteors fall to the earth and everyone dies. Feel free to use either of those terrible ideas. Lol.

May I please know when I can know more of Ethan and Michelles story??? I read in the first novel its called The Universe and Misconceptions.....is that out yet?
Also, is there a story that introduces us the paranormal side of Ethan and Michelle......I saw mention of Ethans eyes in the first novel.....but not sure how we jump to Noah and Nova's paranormal side.
