Term Limits

I used to be for them. I was like the rabble in saying “Yeah, clean out Congress! Fuck those guys! New blood!” The more I thought about it, however, the more I realized I was just being a dick. Our Congress IS term limited. For the House it’s 2 years, for the Senate 6 years.

To limit them, all you gotta do is vote against them.

I came to view term limits as essentially telling people who they are not allowed to vote for, and I simply can’t be a fan of that.

Just think, we’d all be looking forward to Obama’s third term right now…
