Untitled Venetian adventure
Just finished the first draft of my 16th century novel about Venetian merchants, Ottoman sailors and Barbary Pirates. I'm thinking of calling it "The Merchant, the Janissary and the Corsair."
Whatever the ends up being this novel is an epic swashbuckling adventure filled with romance and sea battles.
It's also an historical novel that dramatizes important events in the Mediterranean world which the novel explores.
I was fascinated by what I learned of the history of this era.

Editing progress
This book was interesting in that I reviewed and corrected the previous day's writing before starting on the next. I caught a lot of errors and made a lot of changes that way.
