If you haven't seen the new alien movie Arrival, I recommend it. It's a cool take on human-alien contact, in a Twilight Zone sort of way. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on it, since you have good taste in science fiction.

Yeah, yeah, I thought it was a really great movie. 

I was so happy to see a movie with interesting science based on the real idea of how language does change how your brain maps itself.

The contrast between this and movies like Lucy is sooo huge– (Lucy is based off of some insanely bad science that humans use only of their brains– they dont) 

Also I really liked the aliens in The Arrival. and the way the story was set up.
