I have to break my own rule for just one moment and comment

on Trump’s obvious focus on former high ranking military men for positions in his foreign policy staff.

I find this a good thing. Those Neo-Con war-mongering bastards under Bush were all civilians. Nobody is more pro-war than the person who’s never experienced it. There is no one more anti-war than the person who’s experienced it.

Now, I understand that positive news about Trump is “fake news”.

I think this is positive news, tho. Strategically, I see no other option. I bet we pull out of Afghanistan. What a giant shithole. Why are our young men and women dying there? Why again?
