"Rabbit Punch" Proof Copy Arrives

Rabbit Punch Proof Copy C.W. Thomas Even though most people will probably not see this book in its print form, I like to examine a physical copy. My years as a graphic artist laying out books and interior designs has taught me to always examine the printer's work. Fonts and colors can look a lot different in print than they do on a computer. Errors pop out more too, whether they be typos or errors with the margins or design.

This copy looks pretty darn good. Got a few tweaks to make and then it's off to the presses.

I'm always pleased with my work until I see it in print form. Then my opinion changes to "What am I thinking? I can't release this into the world. This sucks!"

*palms face*

So, world, brace yourself for my sucky book.

Tanya Sousa It's a great story, Craig. You sell yourself short!

Tanya Sousa Hey Craig! I'd love to review the book here, but it isn't listed under your work yet. Let me know when it is! In the meantime, this is what I said about it on Amazon - I'll put it officially as a review here on Goodreads as soon as it's available to. :-)

"I was lucky enough to be one of the first readers of "Rabbit Punch" when the author sent me a review copy - I've read all of C.W. Thomas's books so far, and found this one held similar strengths although the genre was different from his usual medieval/fantasy work (this is a vigilante mystery). From cover to cover, the characters breathed with reality and fullness - which is a hallmark of any Thomas writing. The characters are so well developed from the get-go that you can't help but care about what happens to them - even if they are the kind of people you normally would have a hard time feeling empathy for. VERY well done!

The novel grabs you from the first page and draws you through to the conclusion in a way that makes it both a smooth, fast read and something you are loathe to put down until you know what happens next. It's a great choice for someone who enjoys mysteries or who simply enjoys a well crafted story. A well deserved five stars!"

Peter Murray Craig, I have just finished and reviewed your book here and also on my blog. It's a great read and moves quick too. I couldn't put it down. Tough subject matter, but very relevant. You inspire my friend,
