Started Tom's Story!

Okay, it's tentatively called Silence of the Wolf, although I'm sure the title will be changed. But for now, that's what it is. :)
I have to have a name or I can't write the story. :) I know other authors can write on unnamed books for months, but it doesn't work for me.
One of my critique partners has to finish writing her book before she can share it for critiques. Me? I like feedback as I go along. Am I headed in the right direction?
Plus, I tend to write too long if I don't edit as I go along. I usually write longer even when I set my goal as the minimum word count. By the time I have it, I'm usually still writing a few more scenes to finish up the ending. But before I began to do that, I used to write to get my word count, then go back and edit. What happened was I had so many loose ends I had to write more about and had to still flesh out scenes--I tend to write dialogue and action scenes quickly as they come to me, then go back in and give descriptions of setting and people afterward--that I'd write WAY over word count. :)
So Tom's first chapter is done. And I'm working on the second chapter already. 85,000 words to go. :)
On The Winged Fae, I have 19,000 words to go. :)
Plus I have the first 3 paragraphs written of Wolf Song, YA werewolf story. :)
And, as much as I hate to say it, it's a Monday again!
Have a terrific week!
