Nine Days left on My Kindle Scout Submission

This month is flying by!  There are only nine days left to vote for Cowboy Sanctuary on Kindle Scout to help this book earn a publishing contract!  Have you voted?  If not, please click this link: https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/1H6NVWAEBLL57  I won't be talking about this again until the nomination period is over and I hear the news.  I'll let you know if my book was chosen or not.  If you've voted you'll be notified by Kindle Scout as well.  This has been an interesting adventure either way, and it made me focus on promotion in a unique way!


Would I do it again?  That depends very much on if my book is chosen for that publishing contract. I'm an impulsive person by nature, so sitting on this book for a month has been torture.  It has taught me patience, somewhat.  Basically,  you submit your book, and Amazon decides if they will allow it to have a thirty day period where people vote if they want to read your book.  If it's chosen, you receive a $1500 advance and 50% of royalties.  I can still publish a paperback, but the digital version of this book will remain on Amazon only.

If Cowboy Sanctuary isn't chosen, I will release on all platforms the day I get the information.  Either way, it's been a learning experience, and I'm all about learning something new.  This is a new type of romance book for me, as I've never written contemporary western romance before.  I'll let you be the judge on whether or not it's a genre I should keep writing in.  That's all I can really say until I know which way this book goes.  Thank for your support!
