I'm so excited!! Y'all may remember that
back in July I linked up with
Shay and
Erika's link up "stranded" and
shared three famous women I would want on the desert island with me. Each month there is a different topic and today, we're blogging about what three pieces of outerwear we would take with us if we were stranded on a deserted island.
If you want to see my previous "Stranded Posts" you can find them here:
Stranded... Famous EditionStranded with NetflixStranded with 3 booksStranded with Medicine Cabinet ItemsLet me be clear. I had never imagined the island to be cold. *hahaha* I am obviously imagining this "stranded" experience to be a day at a Caribbean beach with all of my basic necessities met (like one of my new favorite islands,
Castaway Cay or Coco Cay coming up in a few weeks *smiles*) Hahaha. Honestly I am a little frightened. I love me some pretty snow and colder weather for a bit but the thought of being stranded on a cold island doesn't sound as fun. SO with this in mind... to make it more fun I have to take 3 of my favorite outerwear pieces with me:
(1) Scarves
If you have been around this blog or know me at all I am pretty sure that you could have guessed that scarves- especially beautiful and pretty blanket scarves would make the list! *smiles* I pretty much
live in the blanket scarf above but also have fallen in love with my new one from ASOS:
ASOSThis
Oversized Square Scarf in Natural Check is
so warm and comfy and so big so you can wrap up in it easily. I can't wait to show y'all how I have used it and styled it in upcoming posts. If you are interested in purchasing it - it is only $28 you can find it
HERE.
(2) Warm Jacket Like Sweaters
I love big and oversized sweaters that can act as a jacket. I simply love them. This oversized sweater I have had for a few years and it is still one of my favorites. I am seriously on the search for one that is similar for my trip out to the When Calls the Heart TV set in December so if you have any suggestions I would love them!
(3)Boots
JoulesSo I
love Joules Rain and Snow boots. I have had a couple of different pairs over the years but last year purchased the red ones on sale for an amazing price and practically lived in them all winter long. I am also taking those along with me to the trip to Vancouver and visiting the set and I definitely would be bringing them along to the island! If you are interested right now Joules is having a sale on their boots and you can find out more
HERE.
So these are my three outerwear pieces I am bringing if I'm stranded on a deserted island! What would y'all bring? I'd love to know your thoughts!! Comment below (or link up!) and share this with us!
And to see the topic for next month:
Happy Wednesday friends!
