The third book in the Miranda Hathaway Adventures series is currently being edited. The Quilt Show Caper will be released soon. The mayor has asked the Quilt Guild to sponsor a Quilt Show to raise money for the school’s extracurricular activities. The ladies are happy to oblige, but are devastated when someone turns on the sprinklers and several valuable quilts are damaged. They are even more upset when they learn that the money from the cash boxes is missing. Who would do such a terrible thing? Everyone knew the money was for the school!
NUMBER ELEVEN – THE MISSING QUILTER
Her best friend, Olivia, is missing! Zoey Hathaway calls her mom and amateur sleuth, Miranda, to come to Boston and help them find her. But before they can get her back, Miranda goes missing! A frantic Zoey contacts Gabe Downing, her mother’s friend and former FBI agent, for help.
Back in Cutler, Harry the cat knows something is wrong with his beloved Miranda and makes it known at the top of his lungs. His cat sitter alerts the quilt guild; now they’re all worried about Miranda.

A new story, new characters and a new genre. This is called a Cozy Mystery. It’s got several twists and turns and we hope you’ll enjoy it. Our main character is Miranda Hathaway, a small town librarian. We hope you will like Miranda as much as we do. And there’s a new man in her life.
Miranda is a widow with a dismal track record when it comes to dating, but this guy is different. Gabe was surprised when his wife of 25 years left him for her yoga instructor. He hasn’t dated much since the divorce.

The cover for Lying for a Living was incredible! Then it was on to the fourth Witherspoon novel, which was really a challenge because there wasn’t a clear direction for the cover. After going back and forth a couple of times, we came up with this idea and Elizabeth rocked it! We can’t wait to see what she will do with the second Meredith Abbott Adventure.
