As aspiring writers, we are told that the career takes sacrifices. We must work incredibly hard to see our work appreciated, financially or otherwise. We must give up many things - forstall travel or other careers, in order to pursue our dreams. What we often aren’t told, however, is that it takes sacrifices on the part of our families and friends as well.
