It’s That Time Again!
Happy Hallow’s Day! That’s right, folks, it’s November 1st, the day of new beginnings, and among other things, that means it’s National Novel Writer’s Month! So you will all notice there is a new WIP bar rolling away up in the corner of this blog with the 50,000 words I am going to attempt to write in just one month. Naturally, I will be working on my FNAFiction, Everything Is All Right. It is my goal not only to hit 50k words by the end of the month, but to update that bar DAILY and also to make a NaNoWriMo post every Wednesday, in addition to my Serial Saturday posts on Sat…well, Friday night, mostly.
For those of you out there who may not know already, NaNoWriMo was created by a number of amazing people and organizations who wanted to find a way to encourage writers, so that for one month out of the year, we all just put our “but I’m not ready” and “it’s not good enough” aside and just WRITE it. It’s not a contest; there are no winners, only a community of writers who support one another to reach (and surpass) that goal. I’ve been doing NaNoWriMo for years now and I cannot say enough good things about it, so please, if there’s a book in you and you’ve been looking for a reason good enough to tease it out, please click the link below and sign up, or just, heck, start writing.
