((F/F is slang for women loving women))
In my new erotic paranormal romance, Amber Moon, the story revolves around a mated/married Alpha werepuma couple and the Beta female they fall in love with. When I was first planning the story out I got a lot of well meaning advice that I was sabotaging myself by having it be a M/F/F instead of the industry standard of two dudes and a chick. F/F doesn't sell, they said, no one wants to read it! Women feel ashamed to admit that they find another woman attractive and there is too much of a social stigma surrounding being bisexual.
I thought 'they' were wrong, and so did one of my publisher's Decadent Publishing. They bought my M/F/F shifter story and encouraged me to write what my heart and my muse wanted to write. Thank goodness they did because Amber Moon is burning up the charts and I've received letters from my readers expressing their thanks that I wrote a hot story where the love between two women is just as hot and smexy as the love between a woman and a man.
To me, it's really odd that F/F erotica still has such a stigma about it while M/M has become acceptable and almost mainstream. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE me some hot M/M action- in fact the next book in this series, Emerald Moon is M/M and yummy. But I also love hot F/F action, and I think I'm not alone. ;)
So, if you're in the mood for a sizzling hot shifter story with delicious men AND women sharing their love, please consider giving Amber Moon a try.
