Keep pressuring him

During the Saturday broadcast of “AM Joy” on MSNBC, American Urban Radio Networks White House correspondent April Ryan accused GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and other Republicans who despise Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton of pressuring FBI Director James Comey to reopen the criminal investigation against Clinton.

“Let’s look at the facts. James Comey has been pressured by Donald Trump and by all the other Republicans who intrinsically feel a pure hatred for anything to do with the Clintons or Hillary Clinton. So, that has been out in the public square and debated. And James Comey came back with this to give them something to get off of him,” Ryan said.

A few theories…

Comey got scared. He looked scared when he first stated that HRC wouldn’t be indicted. At first I thought maybe he had been threatened. His eyes didn’t look quite right to me.

Or…

Trump said during the second debate that he would hire an investigator to look into HRC’s emails. Meaning any mishandling of the case by Comey or his lackies would also be discovered. He could quite possibly be covering his own ass.

Then again…

After tons of pressure and shaming and his repeated appearances before committees forcing him to justify his decision not to indict HRC while others were convicted of much smaller acts of breaching national security, his conscience got to him. Although, I’m not holding my breath for this particular theory.

Whatever the reason, he was right to reopen the case. He should have indicted her to start with and yes, I still have trouble believing he didn’t. It was cowardly. But whatever motivates him now, I hope it keeps motivating him.

October isn’t even over yet. This is so much fun.
