Gearing up and slowing down

With less than too weeks left before my due date, all my free energy has gone into the copy edit of Spar. Not that there is much extra energy to go around being pregnant and having a toddler to run after weekends and evenings.

Next week, Spar will get it's final proof edit and be ready to format for publication. Release date is still Nov. 23, as far as I know. I can't wait to share this story not only for the romance between the two main characters who each have to confront their own inner fears in order to find happiness but also because I poured a lot of my love for martial arts into this story.

Revising Safe Word has ground to a halt. I have a lot of good comments and corrects from a couple of beta readers and my writing group that need to be incorporated. I just hope it won't be too long before I get back into the swing of writing again.

At least I know a little better what to expect from the first year with a new baby. I'm sure this lil Peanut will throw us some curve balls. And having a Bean also on hand will make our household that much more filled with love, laughter and tears.

Change is the only constant in life. The time will be right again soon to write.
