Princeton Reading November 16, 2016

As part of the Althea Ward Clark W’21 Reading Series, bestselling author Stephen King and writer Eileen Myles read from their work on Wednesday, November 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center. The event is free, however tickets are required. Tickets will be available to the public beginning October 28th — more details will be posted at their site on that date.

Please note that King will not sign books following the reading, however presigned books (mixed titles) will be available for purchase.

Steve I wish I could be there too. I was very fortunate to see him in Nashville, TN earlier this year during his End of Watch book tour. That was a great show and Sai King happens to be quite the comedian too.. :)

Marjorie I was on the phone before the box office opened this morning. Kept calling under finally I was connected but all agents were busy and by the time they got to me, all tickets were gone. So very, very disappointed. Would have loved to have been there. But gave it my best shot. Enjoy it, everyone who's going!

Chris Quite agree, I've been a constant reader since the 60s . I've decided Mr Ks eyes on the prize & an easy life.

Steve Considering his age, health and career accomplishments, it is most likely a wonder that he travels what bit he does these days. He has hinted at retiring in the past and I would not be surprised if he in fact does that eventually so he can enjoy some of what life he has left here on Earth. Enjoy whatever we can get from him while he is still around, I say.

Steve That all may be true. But, the public eye does not know every last detail in regards to what is going on with him. There are pros and cons to everything that we encounter in life. All I can say for my part is that I am enjoying whatever little bit that he can do and offer. This will be my last statement on this matter.

Oh my goodness - yes - thank you! That would be so wonderful. My daughter would love to come with me. But you mentioned being unable to travel to Maine. I'm in NJ and was trying to get tickets to the McCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ reading. Are your tickets for that reading or one in Maine? I couldn't travel to Maine but am only an hour away from the Princeton, NJ venue.

April, it was so very kind of you to think of me and I appreciate it. You sure did get my heart racing a bit there! lol Hopefully, someone else seeing this thread may be able to use your tickets. I'm sorry you won't be able to use them yourself as I'm sure you're very disappointed. Thanks so much for trying.
