A Random Day in October

Looking out from my porch over my quiet street reminds me how life is always good in October.

Gourds from a local market –  Herbs I’ll try to grow in winter –  Lanterns and citronella candles –  My Starbucks iced tea lemonade with passion tea.

Fall is my time of year because it ushers in some of my favourite comfort foods . . . 




Pumpkin spice and rich dark ales.




Hot chili and thick stews.

 

Homemade pizza and apple tarts




And mmmm . . . Spanish and Irish coffee.
Let the cool weather begin.
