I haven’t seen your name in a while

How that name used to make me smile

Time pulled our lives far apart

Tied an anchor to my heart

I took you off my list

Thought the pain might stop

Saw you talking to a friend

The anchor dropped

I felt the pull

As it all dropped down

Still try to keep afloat

So I don’t drown
