Floss Gloss, Blood, Suede and Tears, a reddish chocolate brownToday's Vegan Mani of the Day [#VMOD] is Blood, Suede and Tears [love the name!] by Floss Gloss.  It's a red-leaning, chocolate brown creme that ends up being much darker than it looks in the bottle. Shown is two coats, but I eventually used three. The formula is thin but it builds up easily. [You can see how it looks with one coat on my pinkie; I'm not the best manicurist!] I actually prefer thin polish to thick, so it was fine with me. The finish is shiny and squishy, but benefits from a top coat. It did look chocolate-y and I wanted to lick my nails, but refrained.
I received this bottle in the October Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. I never would have picked this color out for myself, but once I tried it, I was in love with this shade for autumn. The lesson?
