photo Copelandphoto_zpsgn38os4a.jpg Joi Copeland is married to a wonderful man, Chris, and has three amazing boys, Garrison, Gage, and Gavin. She lives in Denver, Colorado, but within the year, hopes to be living in Galway, Ireland.

Joi’s love of writing began at a young age. She wrote short stories for several years, and in 2009, she began writing her first novel, Hope for Tomorrow.

Joi’s books include:

Hope for Tomorrow, book 1
Hope for the Journey, book 2
Hope from the Past, book 3
Letters of Love
Christmas Rayne, a novella
Sheriff Bride Rob's Story, a novella
Christmas Snowe and Peppermint Cocoa

Please tell us three random things we might not know about you.

--I was born with an extra thumb.

--My family and I are headed to Ireland as Missionaries.

--My husband and I have a long disagreement going on: he thinks he is funnier, and I think I am!

Wow, all the best with your move to Ireland! I'm sure you'll be a blessing to many people there.

Please tell us a bit more about the plot of Christmas Snowe and Peppermint Cocoa.

photo New Christmas Snowe Cover_zpsnlaigrbw.jpg Snowe feels she’s committed a horrible sin, one that isn’t worth forgiving. She hasn’t darkened the door of a church in years, and she hasn’t uttered a single prayer.

She’s forced to return home to Maine when her aunt passes away and leaves her a huge and unexpected inheritance.

Not only must she come to grips with what she’s done, but the forgiveness God longs to shower upon her.

Aw, I love her already.

What is it about your lead characters that will make your readers care about them?

I think readers will love how real Snowe is, as well as Tanner. They don’t pretend to be something they aren’t.

Let’s fantasize that your publisher is sending you to explore the setting of a new novel. Where are they sending you? Why that setting?

I would want to go to Maine. My grandparents grew up in Maine, and I desire more than anything to see where they grew up!

What is the last novel you read that you would recommend?

Any novel by Rachel Hauck[image error]. She is an amazing author! Her books are fantastic!

What are you working on now?

I’m working on Shamrock Inn, a sequel of sorts to Christmas Snowe.
